Once darkness is set, the museum’s garden is shut, one’s sight wanders over the glass palisade of the Quai Branly above the moats on rue de l’Université.
In the midst of the garden, a glimmer invades the tall grasses, like water would.
This water-light intensifies as night settles in
Light art for the Quai Branly Museum gardens. A lake of light brings the vegetation to life, the glass palisade is deconstructed, the pools and footpaths are outlined with light sources.
When night falls, a water of light evaporates from the glass stems, of which the white colours from blue to green, guided by a digital thermometer. This breath of light creates a set of shamanic shadows that invades the building, revealing the secret mystery of nighttime inside its walls.
